《Gallery Chuan》Public Art "Aggregate" at Hotel Metropolitan Premier Taipei JR-East

The public art at Hotel Metropolitan Premier Taipei JR-East is the artwork "Aggregate" created by artist Daway Achang. The design is inspired by the image of Taiwan, expressing the tension of Taiwan Island in a modern and abstract way.

《Aggregate I 》
The geometric arcs are stacked high and low, it symbolizes the beautiful island of Taiwan, which was born out of the "Mountain Building Movement".
The layers are piled up to create the highest peak, Mt Jade, which towers into the clouds. Leaning on the greatness of nature, the beautiful things are gathered here.

《Aggregate II》
The circular structure forms the continuous coastline of East Taiwan.
It presents the magnificent scenery of Taiwan's mountains and rivers.
Through the work of "Aggregate", it conveys the gathering of grace and beauty here.
